I got a small surgery done for $100 in Chennai

So much of India bashing that I wanted to blog about this. Of course India Medical Tourism is now world renowned. Chennai, my hometown, especially is one of the chief medical tourist centers in India.

Three years back I found a lump in my right back shoulder. It turned out to be a harmless lipoma on ultra sound scan that my doc ruled out even the necessity for a biopsy. I left it at that. But wearing straps proved to be painful for me ever since. The lump also seemed to grow in size. Latest, it crossed 8 cm diameter, so I decided to go in for a surgery.

The surgeon decided to give me local anaesthesia. He said he was making diamond shaped pricks as the dimension of the lump was too big. I felt only less than a dozen pricks. He said, the number of pricks was a bit more because of the extensive size of the lump. Then I lost all sensation. The preparation was for about 15 min and the procedure itself lasted 45 min. After that I was asked to lie and rest for 30 more min. Then I was back home, but not before stopping somewhere on the way for errands. The surgeon fee was 10,000 rs and the antibiotics, plasters, the anaesthetics etc., cost me 1500 rs. Which means, this surgery was done on me for $100 or perhaps less. This was on sunday last. Yesterday I got my dressing changed. Now that is the biggest difference between America and India. There are blessings in India that you cannot even dream of in America. This small procedure itself could have cost one 10,000 US$ (or more – definitely more). Since the sum was minimal, I decided to swipe my card and not tap into my medical insurance. (I have adequate medical cover).

Every country has ups and downs, pluses and minuses.

My 80 plus aunt had valvoplasty last week. She had other complications. She is a cancer survivor, has had double mastectomy in the past. She had a relapse some years back in her throat for which she had a stent placed. She has had double knee replacement. She broke her neck and was in bed for an year in her 60s. She got covid twice. Still doctors in a local hospital thought she could survive the surgery. They cut open the sides in her hip and got the vein. My aunt weighs 100 kg. Before surgery my aunt was having breathing difficulties and her lungs were drowning in fluid retention. Now she is free of the issues on surgery but it recuperating slowly. Its just a week since the procedure. This gift of her life is possible only because she is operated upon in India by skilful hands. Entire procedure cost her 20,00,000 rupees which may be $20,000/-. Along with hospital stay, physio therapy etc., the bill may come to $21,000/-. For her age, she did not get any insurance cover. We were merely told that the procedure is very advanced and rarest.

Further more, you don’t have to wait long for your medical procedures in India. I decided on my surgery only on saturday. I got appointment for sunday. My aunt waited for three days for her procedure because she was on Aspirin.

So yesterday someone also got bitten by a housepet (vaccinated dog only) near my home. She still had to go to a clinic for some shots. She opted to go to a govt clinic. EVerything was free for her. She spent not a single paisa for the shots and she would have to go back after a month for another shot.

My regular cabbie got his spleen, liver etc., torn in an accident. Everything was repaired in government hospital. He had the PM Modi insurance cover. Last year his condition was critical. But he has survived. He did not have to shell out a single rupee for treatment. For the poorest and most vulnerable among us, from dialysis to cardiac bypass everything in this country of mine is free. And they call us a poor nation. What’s more, you don’t have to wait for long in queue. You name it, you got it. From cataract procedures to even delivery/maternity, family planning procedures, if you are in the BPL level, Indian government offers you everything for free. The ESI hospitals run by the central government and the PHCs run by the state governments are also very clean and hygienic. I am saying this because, years back I got a family planning procedure done for free in a PHC. Though I don’t have a good word to say about the state managed government hospitals. However I am told, the government hospitals in the neighbouring state Kerala are the best. Family planning is free for all in PHCs. I decided to utilize the govt concession and at that time before 30 years, saved a few hundreds of rupees chargeable by private clinics. At that time, I was surprised to find hygienic rooms and washrooms in PHCs and efficient sisters (nurses). The govt doctors are much more experienced and quick. Delivery is free in these centres for all women irrespective of your social status. I still wonder who we middle class women opt to waste money at private maternity homes.

The previous prime ministers of India had schemes and airports named after them. MNREGA was Rajiv Gandhi’s. Indira Gandhi national airport for instance. Jawahar lal Nehru stadium. Even our chief ministers have airports named after them. Anna International of Chennai. Shri Narendra Modi ji could be on his way to become the longest serving prime minister of India but his name is in NONE OF THE GRAND SCHEMES. What we have is Pradhan Mantri Yojanas, Pradhan Mantri health insurance etc.

There is nothing lacking in India. We love our dear Mother India that sustains a billion and more lives. So many foreign nationals come here for cardiac procedures and for knee/hip replacement, spine surgery etc.

This country is lived in for over 10,000 years and has strong cultural roots. All the moslem and christian invasions could not erase our roots completely. We are survivors at the end of the day. They looted our nation, stripped us bare: what you see in India today is redevelopment only. We are merely trying to catch up to our previous lost glory.

This is Navrathri week. This time Navrathri is for 10 days and its on the 11th day we have the Vijayadasami or the Dushshera. This women centric Hindu festival is all about the sacred feminine. Our PM Shri Narendra Modi usually fasts for Navrathri and has only lemon juice in this period. We have a very devout Hindu PM who fasts for the nation, who locks up his entire official residence and uses only a room or so, is a vegetarian from birth, a teetotaler, a yogi who has come up in life from selling tea in railway stations to this level without any help or recommendation. He is totally self made and extremely disciplined. No family member benefitted because of his high office. His family back in Gujarat remains poor without drawing attention to themselves. Nobody knows them. Someone who meditates everyday, Modiji’s devotion for Ma Durga will take India to further heights. The Pranapradishta he did in Ayodhya for Lord Ram will go down in history, no doubt. He will be best known not as PM of India, but as the one who gave us back our Ram Lalla.

For me therefore, it doesn’t matter whether a country is rich or powerful. How you take care of your poor and weak and defenceless and vulnerable is what is important. The top brass of the nation must be incorruptible and must lead an honourable, respectable life. The heads of the states must be selfless and must not favour family businesses over national interests. I think we are having the best prime minister in the world right now for who, only India is the agenda and nothing else is.

The poorest should get the benefits. The weakest must feel thankful. The most vulnerable must feel safe and know that they are not being left out. If a president or prime minister of any nation cannot do it, then I don’t think he can be great.

Why India is not like China or America, precisely for this reason. Can you imagine them being humanitarian like us. This is not communism. This is humanity that’s all.

H1B visa fee hike.

The newly introduced H1b visa fee hike to mindboggling $100,000 per applicant could in fact be a blessing in disguise for India.

Think of the past: America refused super computer to India in 1980s. Our own scientists soon developed it and the nation was in the forefront of IT revolution in the 90s.

America and Russia refused cyrogenic engines to India. India developed her own and it was ISRO that landed first on the dark side of the moon, not NASA.

So every curse can be turned into a blessing if we put our heart into it.

Besides, H1b is the internal policy of America. Frankly, we have no say on such matters. An onion seller has every right to sell his onions for 100 rs per kg or even 10,000 rs per kg. Whether to buy or not is up to us. We cannot be asking him to lower his price even if we think that the pricing is unfair. If we find it beyond our means, we have to move on that’s all.

There is no doubt that the American corporates are going to bleed heavily now. India never benefited from the H1b. The incomes and investments went to the US. Marginal loss is probable. We have been trying to factor in job loss from AI for years now. Sooner or later even the H1b legislation was expected. Not quite a shocker. Now we can be looking at a golden opportunity of the silicon valley shifting massively to India. Cannot rule out the possibility. Americans also must get a chance to realize what they took for granted for decades: the sincerity and dedication and more than all the cultural input and harmless presence of Indians who have contributed immensely to the growth of America. Sometimes, only our absence can teach people our value. One of the best and law abiding global citizens, brainiest, disciplined population is the Indian expat community. If they have to leave America, its America’s loss entirely. Thank you Trump ji, thanks to you Indian brains shall now work for INDIA rather than America for peanuts. Just like the chinese sweatshops cannot be worked with American labour, the deadline-chasing round the clock software industry cannot be staffed with Americans who may not have the mental makeup to follow stricter work culture. Indian American medico friends in the US used to say, they are put on back to back duties whereas the white doctors take it easy. They cannot survive the Indian kind of harshest schedules. I think this is also an eye opener for thankless Indians who talk bad about mother country India. See who you have to come back to now. But mother never rejects her children, does she?

Whether it is about tariff or about H1b, that is how I feel about Trump’s policies. We have to respect their internal decisions even if we cannot agree with them and even if they may hurt us. But here is what America must do as well: RESPECT INDIA’S CHOICES. We buy what we can afford. We run our nation how it suits us. 1.4 billion is simply too big a number. We have to feed that many mouths. We have zillions of automobiles. Hundreds of airports. We choose to economize. Its not for Russia, its not for Iran. We do everything FOR US, FOR INDIA. Just like you do with America. Nobody can dictate terms to India. We are not here for 10,000 years going by the same name Bharat for nothing. Who wrote Artha Shastra, the political treatise taught even in ivy league universities in America, and when. Neither are we the occupiers. WE ARE NATIVES, THE ORIGINALS. We know how to run our economy, run our country. To even advise others, you must last 1000 years as a single entity (nation), saving most of your territory and gene pool. India, China, Russia, Japan have done just that. We are all NATIVES, SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF THE SOIL. If Koreans or Filipinos or Indians migrate (only) to America or Canada or Australia, it is because these are immigrant nations whose doors have been thrown open by colonists/occupiers. UK is different because they occupied India, Africa etc., for centuries in a visa free period. Now they are being paid back with interest that’s all.

What about today’s migrants? Today’s migrants are not engaged in violent ethnic cleansing operations of natives. They are not taking over native settlements and building six bedroom villas. They are not slave traders and exploiters. They have not bankrupted gold mine and diamond mine nations hunting down species of wildlife to extinction, making blood money. They are not raising nations over cemetery of locals. Today’s immigrants are merely and honestly looking for better livelihood and safe havens. Some are political asylum seekers. Today’s immigration is really legal and justifiable than what happened over centuries to Asia and North and South Americas and Canada and Australia. Immigration in the 21st century is the way really immigration must happen : for right reasons.

H1b visa hike could be a big blessing to India. A blessing in disguise. It can retain talent and can plug the braindrain from India to the US. It can help our children RETAIN OUR HINDU CULTURE without dilution. It can save generations of Indians from drugs, overt materialism, liquor addictions, mental issues etc., that are rampant in America. Its time we Indians too do our homework. What is there in America except for malls and highways. Of course as I tourist I loved American forest reserves. Nature is at its best element in the United States. Other than that America may be lacking something: THE SOUL . Everything is not about materialism, money, money, money, glamour, glitz, malls, shopping, partying, plastics, etc. In India we spend hours a day in pursuit of our spiritual goals. We still cook in our kitchens. We have happy families. Outings are not to theme parks but ancient temples that are thousands of years old where our forefathers had walked. So it really makes me happy that at last, future generations of bright young Indian minds WONT BE BUILDING AMERICA but will be building India instead. Trump has saved generations of Hindus getting lost in meaningless pursuit of materialism, in my words. There is a limit to chasing money. I would rather want our younger people to spend more time enjoying the classical Indian arts and learning our spiritual ways, living life the way how our ancestors lived: holistically. That is the big quality difference between America and India. They are bhogis. We are Yogis. India to me is class act that can come only with good breeding.

See, nobody is going to be here permanently. Many of us don’t want to think that even within next few years our house, our car, our clothes, our jewelry everything will belong to others. Hundred years later or even far earlier, nobody will know us or remember us. There will be no mention of our name. The next minute we pass away, we won’t be referred to by our name: we become THE BODY. That is what we sum up to finally. May we go with more pluses than minuses. May we go with grace. May someone miserable and poor weep for us because we lent them a helping hand. May someone miss us the good human.

As a Hindu, I believe strongly in rebirth. Our next rebirth will be whatever we despise intensely. We all have our lessons to learn. Being compassionate is not just about showing others consideration or mercy. It is also about doing something good to our own soul and saving it from future trauma in rebirths to follow. No doubt the Abrahamics will think I am a fool. But that is precisely the difference between Hindus and them. These guys think man writes history. No, the pen and the ink in the pen are from Mother Goddess Herself. She scripts nations’ destinies, not just individuals. Its Her wish. If She thinks now that enough is enough, that India has given enough talent and wealth to America and pulls the plug, then so be it. I am writing this on the first day of Navratri, celebrated throughout India in awe of the sacred feminine. Trump is not signing any document. Mother holds his pen. Its Her wish. Its Her thought that its time India starts helping self. With that I round off this post. Direction comes from up above. Why do humans credit themselves with so much power? Even Mother leaves a few pages blank for us to fill on our freewill. That is what decides our Karma. What do we want to fill up those few pages with?

Believe me Modi ji, what is happening is for the best. May Mother Goddess, our universal Divine Mother, always be with India. No need to become the richest nation on earth. Let us be the most humanitarian nation on earth. Jai Maa Kaali! Happy Navratri! Happy Dusshera! God bless India! God bless America! And belated birthday wishes to our beloved Prime Minister! You are the best.

New GST Reforms

How Modi govt has decided to tackle the tariff issue with the US is amazing. Thanks to president Trump, we Indians have realized why it is even more important to increase local consumption and depend less on export revenue. Result is the semi conductor industry proposed by the centre among many other developmental projects towards the goal ‘atma nirbhar Bharat.’ But the icing in the cake is how as Diwali gift the BJP government has slashed the GST to unbelievable low rates to encourage consumption by the middle classes and push up demand. Production and thereby the economy will get the boost. At the same time, the DIIs, the domestic institutional investors are in a buying frenzy than ever, outstripping the FIIs, the foreign institutional investors in the Indian stock markets. This is a healthy trend and is more about self reliance. About the US tariff imposition of 50% I want to say this: we cannot have a say or hold on foreign government rulings. But we can tweak ourselves and use every opportunity as stepping stone to improve ourselves. Every setback is a motivation to move two steps ahead. Trump’s 50% tariff imposition on India is a blessing in disguise for the Indian economy. There is not a capital goods sector now in India which is not seeing a heavy investment flow. Simultaneously Modi govt is also on signing spree of free trade agreements with nations and is diversifying our exports portfolio. Significant are the trade deals signed with African nations for rare earth minerals that can see mutual prosperity. Africa has long been exploited and shaved of their valuable minerals and gems. I like the reach out of Modi ji to the various nations across the globe. Very recently he was in Japan and the solidarity expressed by the Japanese with India is remarkable.

I wish Trump too is in the picture. There is no point in animosity and adversity and toxicity. Together great nations can work wonders and do a lot for humanity.

See, you are looking at 1.4 billion nation, one seventh of the world population. We are literally the movers and shakers here. We are shockproof, jolt proof. Nothing can rattle India. India will go on to eternity. Don’t write your history after 300 years of existence. Have a history that is 10000 years old that cannot even be documented.

As for as our PM Shri Modi ji is concerned, first of all he does not have a family. He is fasting most of the days or he is on frugal vegetarian diet. He is a yogi and has no self serving interests, as he owns no business or holds anything much by way of movable/immovable assets. The nation is his 24 hour preoccupation. He is unlike any other world leader of present times. He is principled. He is not profit motivated. He is deeply spiritual. He meditates. He has stepped into thousands of Hindu temples within India in the last 15 years. And unlike others, we Indians don’t believe his karma was to head our nation. His karma was to BUILD THE RAM TEMPLE AND BRING BACK RAM TO AYODHYA for which he was bestowed with the right kind of power that could enable him to make it a reality. Who could he have been in his previous janams? Perhaps the maratha warrior king Chatrapathi Shivaji himself? Whosever reincarnation Modi ji could be, I have no doubt in my mind that in every single birth of his, he probably strove to build the Ram temple and oust the mad mugals out of our sacred Hindu nation. His karmic love for our punya bhoomi is what led to this birth of his in which he has already kind of achieved his karmic goals. The PM post itself could be incidental. During his period India has prospered, grown stronger and mightier. He has the love and respect of even our minorities and has admirers through out the world.

Indian history is over 10000 years ancient. Unwritten Hindu history has spanned that longer. Nobody can write off India. Hindus were advanced civilization when the white man was swinging from tree to tree in Europe. We all go through temporary glitches. What we see in India is not development but REDEVELOPMENT, that’s all.

India-US relations will be back to normal soon. I don’t think temporary issues will sour permanent relationships that have been going steady for decades. India shall at the same time have friendly relations with Russia, Ukraine, China, Japan, Iran, Israel everyone. Why not. Nobody is our adversary. India’s level however is not abysmal low as Pakistan’s, to be shaking hands with them. That is Bangladesh’s job. Now, they are equal partners and deserve each other. Don’t want Pakistan Bangladesh even on BUY ONE GET ONE FREE OFFER. We all relate at our level, right. We have OUR standards. Our values. Through their friendships and alliances, nations define THEIR CLASS. Character is what is elegance. And nations too have character. Not just character, KARMA as well. Leaders write the karma of their nations, good or bad. So far as Pakistan is concerned, it is NEGATIVITY to describe in single word.

Finally a pat on the back to our PM Shri Narendra Modi, finance minister Smt. Nirmala Sitaraman, Ajit Doval ji and Shri Jaishankar. What a team we have. Excellent GST reforms which reflect that India would rather WORK ON HERSELF than try to twist others’ arms. I want to see Sensex soar over 100000 points soon and NIFTY over 50000. Let us make that happen as a nation! Together with you Modiji, in every step.

Who wants Tesla when Electric Auto Rickshaw is here?

Yesterday was my first time in Electric auto rickshaw from Anna Nagar East to my home. Booked through Uber. I was surprised by the green colour of the auto. Did not even notice the details of booking that stated clearly that my upcoming ride was an EV, the electric auto. It was only on few minutes into the ride that I paid attention to the EV marking of the auto. Then I asked the driver. He said, yes indeed the auto was electric. He was driving it for last seven to eight months. No noise, no pollution. Smooth as silk he said. He said he charged the auto at home as Chennai is yet to have charging points for auto rickshaws. As of now, the city has electric vehicle charging points only in petrol bunks where owners of both cars and two wheelers can have their vehicles charged apart from at their homes. The green electric auto that was my ride was Bajaj make. It was economical – may not be too very cheaper but definitely not expensive, said the driver. Up until now the battery was good and the charging at home held good for entire day. I wanted to take a picture with him and his auto, but I stopped with just a selfie. Let the driver and his auto have some privacy!

Why do we need anything from America when we can have a far better, wiser Indian option. Who cares for luxury sedan? I am carless and happily carless! I love the autos and the city metro that are my favourite modes of transport. And of course I depend on Nataraja service (walking my way around the city’s congested streets). Life is beautiful. India WILL survive. Not here for nothing going by same name Bharat for 10,000 years. Not exactly the mushroom that sprang up in last evening’s rain.

By the way, I am here since the third week of August only – home at last in 2025. The profusion of EVs is staggering as I can see, compared to last year exactly around this time. Two wheelers lead the rally.

See, these are our needs: electric autos, EV two wheelers and then finally EV sedans mid size. We don’t need the plush range. I have no shame in admitting that I am middle class and I come from a third world nation. We have to think about affordability and durability. We will do what is GOOD FOR INDIA, NOT AMERICA!

Autos in the city mostly switched over to CNG fuel many years back, so that has actually supposedly reduced a bit of pollution. But this latest moving over of autos to electric mode is the best thing to happen to our city. I mean, for EVs normally you visualize sedans, SUVs and even two wheelers. How many of us ever factored in the EV auto? Auto is anyway my most favoured means of transport. Excited by the transformation! Hopefully the auto rickshaw walas of Chennai enmasse go electric soon! For that to materialize, may we have more charging points for autos around the city. Jai Bharat!

World does not know what to do with India!

Lovely! Just read this. But as I cannot copy the link here, I am doing a copy-paste job.

This was someone by name Aviator Anil Chopra in X (Twitter?).

Superbly articulated by Priyanka Joshi.

“The world doesn’t know what to do with India. We don’t fit their neat little boxes. We’re not white. We’re not monotheistic. We’re not ex-colonizers or submissive ex-colonized. We are something they can’t decode.

We are too many things at once—ancient and modern, spiritual and scientific, emotional and logical. We believe in gods and particles, karma and quantum. We’re chaos that somehow moves forward. That bothers them.

Because we aren’t supposed to succeed.

We don’t speak with one voice. We speak in thousands. Our system isn’t clean. It’s noisy. It debates. It screams. But it works—because we’ve lived through worse and survived. When we rise, they frown. When we achieve, they doubt. Because they still see us the way they chose to see us long ago—untrained, uncouth, and scattered.

But we’ve always known how to turn our mess into movement. They don’t get that a billion people don’t need a single script. They fear our success because it didn’t come from their textbooks, their aid, or their approval.

We remember being ruled, but we were never truly conquered. We adapted, absorbed, transformed—but never disappeared. And that is unsettling for those who thought we would.

India rising doesn’t fit their world order. Because we didn’t wait for permission. We didn’t rise from imitation—we rose from memory, from contradiction, from sheer force of will.

And that’s why they don’t celebrate our rise. They resist it.

Because it wasn’t supposed to happen.”

THE PHENOMENON THAT IS INDIA: BHARAT, MY MOTHERLAND.

What India can learn from the American Electoral Process.

As the Trump-Musk feud escalates, Indian media is out with their speculations. A few influencers are better than the mass media tv channels. One of them was detailing about how Elon Musk may go about forming a third political party in the United States, that is a rare occurrence though not unheard of. The analyst was laying out point-by-point, why it was a monumental task for a third front to make it in America. The first and foremost reason was that, the third political front may require signatures from at least two million registered voters to be recognized by the Election committee as a competent political party. This really left me speechless. I am leaving out the other reasons that are out of scope of this post.

I am from Tamil Nadu where we had those like filmy actor Kamal Hasan start a political party (Makkal Needhi Maiyam) just to divide votes (or so we believe in) in the state. The party was active for a very brief time and is now gone defunct. But it served the purpose. It divided the vote bank by packing home the then ruling ADMK and returning to the Assembly the DMK which was apparently the motive. It is alleged that the party was also church-sponsored. ADMK had BJP leaning. Soon as the elections were over, MNM dismantled completely overnight with key members jumping the ship to get on to other bandwagons. Many simply vanished into thin air abandoning their political careers and the lofty ideals they were touting for months wasting columns in newspapers and hours in tv debate. A key BJP candidate Annamalai lost the Coimbatore seat in parliamentary elections thanks to MNM. The founder/floater of the party Kamal Hasan himself returned to the silver screen soon after the elections, leaving no doubt about the quiet dissolving of the party. How MNM even got funded is a mystery. It came into existence in such a short time flush with resources. Church angle is most probable, that’s all. No ruling out the invisible foreign hand and connections such as Mauritius or Seychelles, just to say. Scenarios like this are very common in India if and whenever vested interests want to divide the vote bank. It happens even at the central level as we saw very recently in the last concluded Lok Sabha (Parliamentary) elections. India has a third front that comes alive around election times always. Modi’s BJP is winning despite all this tamasha.

Both India and the US are two of world’s largest democracies. India has the largest adult franchise bank in the world, with around a billion eligible voters ready to exercise their voting rights.

Indian Election Commission can take a leaf out of the American Democratic/Election process for the sake of stability of our own governments. The third party fronts, the independent candidates etc., may have to be filtered for motives. Sources of funds must be legal and established clearly and published in the gazette. We can have something like the minimum signature consent/campaign within a stipulated 60 days or 90 days based on American model, in order for a new political party to come into existence, like a mushroom shooting up in the previous night’s rains. The new front must have solid grounds by way of logic to come into existence in the first place. Otherwise the third fronts are a waste of our time, energy and resources.

I have been voting in the EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines) since 2001 I guess. Now the list of candidates even for my constituency which is Central Chennai is getting lengthier and lengthier like the Hanuman tail. Too many independent contestants. There should be some basic criteria to check out the potential harmers who have it in them to inflict damage on the free and fair elections in India. Many promising candidates lose out to this third front/independent candidate mafia. Most independent candidates as well as the new third or fourth or fifth fronts, etc., that shoot up in India both at central and state levels have only one agenda: TO DIVIDE THE VOTE BANK UNSCRUPULOUSLY AND UPSET THE APPLE CART. This is nefarious and criminal ideology that needs to be addressed by our Election commission. Very recently actor Vijay from Tamil Nadu has floated his own political party (allegedly aimed at dividing BJP votes). The church connection is bold and written on the wall.

So as per Indian think tanks, even with the hurdles and constraints in his way, Elon Musk stands a good chance of getting successful with his new political party, if he is serious about it.

Things are getting interesting from here. Me taking no sides. Just a curious spectator from India who is keeping her fingers crossed.

They say, when America sneezes, the rest of the world catches cold. This is so true, believe me. What happens in America can have repercussions in not only in India, but in all parts of the world.

I hope my prime minister as well as the Election commission of India study the American two party democratic system for its merits and tighten the entry for third fronts/independent candidates who may try to destabilize India. If someone is solid and serious like Musk, then they can have no problem with the tough norms laid out to screen potential wreckers of our democratic system. The consolation is that, India and BJP continue to win in dire circumstances!

Krishna’s Heart

HARE RAMA HARE KRISHNA!

Jagannath temple, Puri

Shocked by the gunfire on ISCKON temple in the US. Krishna lived eons before Jesus when modern communication network was practically non existent on planet earth. Further Hindu history is believed to have happened in another plane of time before catastrophe struck. We Hindus believe, we are someone who picked up the shreds of the lost civilization and rebuilt our society from the banks of the Sindhu yet again. Krishna’s heart lives on for us.

Hindu Dharam never spread by the sword. We don’t bribe or coerce anyone into conversion. On the contrary, Hindu deities may want you to REALIZE them. My Ishta devata is Ma Lalitha. We call Her ‘guhyapriya or rahasyapriya.’ She does not even want ignoramus to talk about Her or think about Her, as per scriptures. The realization has to come to people on their own – if not by birth as in the case of the biologically/culturally born-Hindu. Mostly Krishna devotees around the world thus REALIZE KRISHNA on their own as roads may lead them to Krishna mandir.

Puri Jagannath Mahaprasadam is unique, satwik food.

Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra is also reenacted around the world by ISCKON temples. Its a massive event in Odisha that draws lakhs of Krishna devotees from all corners of the globe.

You simply cannot erase Krishna Consciousness. Hindu deities are very much realizable as more and more of non Hindus in America are realizing Lord Ganesha, Kali, Krishna, Shiva among others. (Deities come to us in the form we may manifest them in. In other words, deities are energy forms with names and images that YOU give them. Nobody can shake them off. Most of us seek deities manifested by our ancestors). Krishna is the most accessible and realizable deity who millions around the world find themselves in the same frequency with.

Dharmic Hindu faith, the Sanathana Dharma, is a conscious choice for millions around the world. Of the six schools of Hindu Philosophy, Vaishnavam (under which Krishna Consciousness falls) is more popular with Krishna as its supreme deity or Brahman. Before Jesus was a shepherd, Krishna was tending to cattle. Before the nuns were married to Jesus, thousands of Gopikas were married to Krishna very much in similar fashion. So tell me who copied who.

Mystery clouds hang over the Kirana Hills.

Me no expert, just a grandma chilling out here. I am merely adding links to this post that may be self explanatory.

The following is by far the most expert interview I have watched on Operation Sindoor and India-Pakistan conflict. Shri Tom Cooper is supposedly world renowned weapons/war analyst.

Earthquake for 3 to 4 days continuously in Pakistan which is freaky and not consistent with the way nature works. US flew in aircrafts to detect radiation leak around the time compromise was reached. And boron was reportedly brought in by plane from Egypt which is used for deactivating/arresting radiation seeping into atmosphere.

If this is true, then its NECESSARY because Pakistan is irresponsible state and needs to be neutralized. Nobody like our Modi omg! Another level. In Pakistan tv that I used to watch sometimes, they used to mock at Chanakya. So if this is not Chanakya Tantra, what is it? ‘Arthashastra’ says it all.

If it could be true to which both India and Pakistan won’t agree, then this is what is truly a NUCLEAR DETERENT!!! Bravo, India did it! So is that why our PM Shri Narendra Modiji said, ‘no more nuclear blackmail by Pakistan?’ So on record, NO, INDIA DID NOT HIT PAK NUKE FACILITIES. We want NO glory! As I have said in my blog before, may the social media victory be Pakistan’s! May India win where it matters.

India did not fight just against Pakistan. India fought 4 nations at a time: Turkey, China, the US and of course Pakistan. Imagine being alone in this world, not fitting into the Islamic Ummah neither belonging with the Christian world. Its not S400 that is our protective shield. Its the DHARMA WE HINDUS PRACTISE IN OUR EVERYDAY LIVES.

Over centuries India was invaded by the Turks, Arabs, Persians, Afghans, Mongols everyone. Hindu kings lost badly because of their Dharmic roots. Could not unleash the looter-marauder brutality because our Dharma never made us that way. Now hopefully Pakistanis will get it. If a Hindu is enraged, it means his Kshatriya spirit that was dormant for long, was woken up rudely by these guys.

Not only Pakistan, even Turkey and China will think twice about engaging in war with India in future. This is not Ottoman times you fools. China product quality is now the laughing stock of the world. Indians are battle hardened. Its not just the machinery, its also about strategy, discipline and DHARMA. Dharma shall win in the end. Truth will triumph. Satyameva Jayate. ONLY truth shall triumph.

Today in Whatsapp received videos of devastation of Nur Khan air base in Pakistan by IAF. Unbelievable.

I am closing this post with this copy & paste job, most probably a forward, from someone’s comment in You tube.

There are several reasons to be Narendra Modi’s admirer and supporter (independent of his political power and chosen goals) :

1. You can never see this leader in shabby clothes or improper hair style or confused state of mind. 2. His body language is commanding, his gait is manly. 3. He resembles a saint in saffron, a soldier in military attire and a divine prince in normal daily wear. 4. Patriotism is his breath and discipline is in his blood. 5. In whosoever world leader’s company he is, his talent dominates, others appear less talented. 6. Several apparently impossible election promises were fulfilled, we have never seen of any other leader of his calibre in the past. 7. Though he is in nation’s higher hieararchy, he never favours his family. Could never see siblings around him, never ever. 8. He never avails any holiday. 9. He has never fallen sick. None has seen him with woollen shawl over his head or neck. 10. He knows how much to talk and when to keep quiet. 11. Being so busy, none has seen him exhausted. Sense of humour is excellent. 12. His speech is sharp and incomparable. Fluency of his language, clarity of thought, articulation in speech all augur well for the country. 13. He is never afraid of the gimmicks and challenges of political foes. 14. He does not waste his time answering the foolishness of opponents. Yet he is wholly committed to his duty with acumen. 15. He is a fusion of the three virtues – health, tradition and honesty. 16. Not only his decisions but also his shrewedness, timing and dedication are noteworthy. 17. His grandeur resembles a holy symbol of Hindu culture. 18. His powerful eyes are capable of making him a hypnotist. 19. This man has no confusion, fear or selfishness. 20. Lastly even at 74 this man works 15 to 20 hours a day. We have not seen him yawning. Jai Bharat… Jai Jawan…. Only NaMo Jai Shree Ram IF YOU REALISE YOUR PM IS DISCHARGING HIS DUTIES PERFECTLY, YOU MAY FORWARD THIS TO OTHERS.

Say NO to Kamakhya temple corridor.

I am with Shri Rajarshi Nandy totally on this. Missed a golden opportunity to go to Kamakhya with my guru last year. Its in my bucket list. For Shakthi marg followers, Kamakhya is basic. Our spiritual guru conducted homams/yagnas/havan there last year with shishyas. The group also worshiped the Dasa Mahavidhyas who are extremely important for those who have taken diksha or vow for Shakthi Upasana. So the Kamakhya temple corridor case is very much relevant for us as we can understand what it is about. Only someone who is spiritually elevated and someone like Shri Nandy who is doing Bhairav Sadhana and is also a presence at the powerful Kamakshya temple can know about the significance of leaving the shrine undisturbed.

One of the Shakthi peeths, Sati’s yoni fell in this part of Assam. Mother Goddess bleeds therefore a few days (in red) every month even now in Kamakhya. This is rivulet or stream that branches off from the mountains into the temple’s garbagraha (sanctum sanctorum). We don’t know how this is possible as was facilitated by our ancestors. Or by Mother Herself. But until today this is a reality.

Shakthi peeths are most powerful. They determine the destiny of a nation as Shri Nandy ji says in another video. Disturb Kamakhya who is looking after North East, be ready to lose North East. As Nandi ji says, the Mother Goddess will leave Her abode in that case. Without the deity, the pitah will cease to matter.

Some of us are just at the base of the pyramid when it comes to Shakthi Upasana. We have a whole lot of mountain to climb in front of us. Yet Mother’s presence is something we feel deep in our soul. We experience strongest of vibes. So one can imagine the level of spiritual elevation of those like Shri Nandy ji. I am not an expert in anything. I listen to many online. Many online gurus too for me who have been shaping up my thinking for years now. Shri Nandy ji is by far the best and most sincere and is reachable at grass roots level. Very accessible and also so genuine, real. Bhairava energy flowing out of him is unmistakable.

May our PM Shri Narendra Modi ji get some time to look into this matter personally once the Indo-Pak conflict emergency is over. The temple’s eco system needs to be preserved.

Varanasi corridor is an entirely different matter that has got no connection with Kamakhya environment. There it was necessary given that entire Kashi boasts of some 84 ghats. The cleaning up and restoration work was absolutely necessary.

Today I heard another shocking news: that an aerodrome is planned for Sabarimala – at the top of the western ghats. What madness is this. That is totally an elephant country where even tigers roam freely. A heaven for the wildlife of India. Such a biodiversity as in western ghats, you cannot find in more than a handful of places in the world. Bird species count alone exceeds over 200. Western ghats is the LUNGS of India somewhat along with the Himalayas. Already enough damage has been done. Even Lord Aiyappa shall walk out of Sabarimala permanently if this airport materializes. The communist state government of Kerala don’t have it in them to factor in these valid points. You don’t have to kill a 1000 elephants and precious-precarious ecology to make room for temple devotees. What kind of religiosity is this. I can never understand this destructive streak when it comes to nature in our countrymen. I am even against the Char Dham corridor through Himalayas. Anything against nature can never please Shiva or Shakthi. Already Jaggi Vasudev, in the name of Shiva, encroached a vital elephant corridor robbing our pachyderm families of their rightful home of tens of thousands of years. He speaks of enlightenment through crash courses (such as Inner Engineering for this precise reason: If he could only see that Shiva is that elephant… ) How much more must we destroy nature in the name of our deities you bloody fools. Did they ever ask you to do that?! That kind of spirituality I simply cannot figure out. I directly appeal to my PM: Modi ji please STOP plans for any aerodrome for Sabarimala. Don’t send away our deities permanently out of India. They will never return if we turn against nature.

Anyone who by chance comes across my blog, I request to contribute generously to the court case for fighting the proposed Kamakhya commercial infrastructure corridor to promote tourism. This kind of development we just DON’T need around our shrines.

I am waiting for a link that can enable one to make a monthly/regular contribution for Kamakhya corridor case.

I think this one is for one time contribution.

A request to Nandy ji too. Please also ascertain whether any aerodrome is proposed for Sabarimala in Kerala and if so, please address this issue as well. You can take up the discussion in your you tube channel. Thank you.
