Will Bhutan merge with India.

This Himalayan kingdom is not carbon neutral but is actually carbon negative. Welcome to Bhutan.

Bhutan is India friendly because we have shared culture. While India is the cradle of both Hindu civilization, the only unbroken culture of over 10000 years, and also Buddhism, Bhutan is a Buddhist country. Bhutan relies on India for defence especially in the light of Tibet occupied by the Chinese. Why should Dalai Lama flee to India when there were so many developed first world nations where he must have been welcome with red carpet. Its not always about material wealth, the west must understand this. The common ancestry of the Indian subcontinent keeps these nations united like a single umbilical cord connecting these communities. Bound by blood and trust, can America understand this?

We in India respect Bhutan’s independence. India will always be there for this landlocked nation on earth, that is a paradise of peace. This is how humanity must live. NOBODY WANTS YOUR FAST CARS AND YACHTS AND HOLIDAYS AND BLOODY CONSUMERISM! Bhutanese practise dharma and their entire lives may be steeped in Dharma. Dharmic way of life means living life the right way with principles in pursuit of one’s spiritual goals. We don’t want to force Bhutan’s merger with India. But if they want it on their own accord, India may respect their wishes. Same holds true for Nepal, another Himalayan kingdom, basically Hindu. Nepal fell under the false charms of the Chinese and became communist. But Nepal could be around the bend now after that lapse. Nepal used to be the only Hindu country in the entire world as even India is a secular nation, not YET constitutionally Hindu.

Christian missionary mafia from the US enter Nepal under the garb of tourism and convert the rural Nepalese and those who are poor, weak and vulnerable. Nepal is only now waking up to this ugly truth. Bhutan, Nepal, India are nations where NATIVES live and rule, not occupier-settlers.

Bhutan does not recognize most world nations especially the invaders and occupiers. This is not because they are opposed to anyone. It is because they are not only believers in Dharma but also practitioners of Dharma in true spirit. Bhutan recognizes the old world order and mostly don’t recognize the new nations that came into existence in recent world history. To hell with the material pursuits of the west. Bhutan wants none of that! Its not surprising that Bhutan does not even recognize the US, UK, France, China, Russia etc. Bhutanese are happiest and most peaceful buddhists on earth. They don’t NEED the west. In short, CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM are NOT recognized by Bhutan, something India must be following! Bhutan is spot on on recognizing wherefrom the problems of the world stem from: the greed of the Abrahamics with their acquisitions and conquests of others’ possessions and wealth. World is in such a chaos because of the Abrahamics. The courage to underscore the real neck in the pain for the world! Bhutan merits a standing ovation for that alone!

India holds responsibility over Bhutan. Bhutan permits only limited tourists per year and that applies to Indians too. Even if in future the merger of Bhutan can happen with India, we in India would want their visa rationing to apply to India as well. No Indian citizen must be permitted to move to Bhutan while Bhutanese can receive free education at all levels in India. Bhutanese can freely work in India. Bhutanese can be allowed to invest in real estate, industry and business in India. However we in India don’t seek reciprocal rights in Bhutan. Bhutan is our responsibility. Yet, seeing Bhutan as an independent nation will make us happiest.

Long live dear Bhutan! Love and respects from India! Eschewing the Abrahamic west and most of Middle east and their material wealth lacking humanity is your formula for peace! Stay happy and blessed always.

I was watching You Tube videos where I found funnily comments bashing India and Indians for our backwardness comparing us to China and the US. The truth is WE DON’T WANT TO BE LIKE CHINA OR THE US. India is not a developing nation but a redeveloping economy after we were run over by muslim and christian thieving occupiers and marauders for 1500 years straight. We stood the onslaught and here we are. We Hindus spend hours every day in our spiritual pursuits that you cannot even dream of the chinese or the americans. We are aware how differently we are made compared to them. When we have no complaints, why should the west bother?

Bhutan or India or Nepal are not 300 years old like America. Not here without a reason for minimum 10000 years as the only continuous unbroken civilization of the world – when the Egyptian, Sumerian, Mayan, Greek everything perished. World did not come into existence with Christ or the prophet. Only the ambitious, the materialistic youth from India want to emigrate to greener pastures, not everyone. And this migrating young people percentage is very slim – in decimals.

Imagine Bhutan being there from time immemorial but REFUSING TO LEAVE CARBON FOOTPRINT ON EARTH. This is what is civilized culture not mindless consumerism and highways and skyscrapers and luxury sedans. Good for Bhutan that America put them in the travel ban list! I couldn’t stop laughing! Bhutan does not even recognize the legality of the USA and here they are instituting a ban on Bhutan! Funny. But seriously it is hometruth if you let that sink in dear America. Living the right way is DHARMA whether you see it or not. Please let not even the shadow of the west fall on this beautiful peaceful paradise called Bhutan. Let them be. God bless Bhutan!

Review: Everest

Watched Everest for umpteen time today. Can’t recall if I have already done the review years back!

managed to get this original pic of the team.

The indomitable nature of human spirit never seems to stop avowing me. What is even the reason to make it to the top? As the climbers say, it is there and that is good enough for them. I have heard of logjam in Everest ascent and every picture that shows the littering and overwhelming human presence in the Himalayan peaks always kind of wears me down. Yet as I said, the very endurance capacity in us humans is admirable and this is something that makes me think is what helped us evolve as the no.1 in bio-chain or food chain on planet Earth topping all other living organisms. This is how the human race crossed continents and is set to conquer space. So may be this is good.

From previous productions on Himalayan peak ascents, I understand that Mt Everest could be the world’s summit yet it’s not something unattainable. With ropes pitched virtually to the top on pre-determined and handpicked routes, Everest could be within reach of any aspiring decent climber. For most parts, the ascent also seems more slopey over 90 degree vertical even if the landscape is interspersed with ice shelfs and gulfs and deep drops into gorges. Avalanches can happen anytime and storms can brew and blow over by the minute. Even in summers, climbers have to wait for opening up of a precious rare window with favourable climate when they have to factor in their ascent. There are climbers with oxygen support and then there are those who resist oxygen assistance. Frost bites and hyperthermia, disorientation and snow blindness are just a few of the manifestations of the high altitude sickness associated with high mountain trekking and summiting snowy peaks. Statistics as reported in the film reveal that one out of four perish in scaling Everest. Brings to my mind Jeffrey Archer’s ‘Paths of Glory’ that is on George Mallory who could have been the first to make it to the Everest summit but who died on descent. I loved this book but I would have wanted to remind Archer that many, many Sherpas of Nepal have been doing this for centuries, millennia without glory. The arrogance of these thickheaded men! I do read this old man but he gloats too much!

Back to the pic, I want to say this about the guide or leader of one of the expedition teams Rob who lost his life in the Everest turning back on the Hillary steps to get back at the summit for the sake of Doug who shouldn’t have been there in the first place. The humane gesture cost this great man his life with his unborn daughter Sarah (born 1996), being carried by his wife Jan. Rob, you should never have done this to your family man. But you are such a wonderful soul that every time I see this pic, I think you are lying still up there, closest to Lord Shiva. And you died doing what you loved the most and hearing words of love from your wife. As for Beck, another drain on energies. This kind of guys must abstain from ambitious mountaineering because they can slow others down. A good climber could end up paying the highest price of losing his/her life thanks to these thoughtless careless guys who want to scale the Everest when they may not be totally fit. Ok, agreed I am the last person who must be saying this totally unfit! And after viewing Meru, I have to rethink those words of mine, sure. But sometimes when there is loss of life, it makes one wonder whether it is all worth it. My heart goes out the Japanese woman climber Yasuka , is it. And Harold. In case of Harold, being a seasoned climber, he is still going ahead with his Delhi Belly well aware of the disastrous consequences should something go wrong. What is the point in his entire team making it to the Everest summit. I think, Harold invited death virtually. Doug loosening himself out of grip is unpardonable and virtually delayed/led Rob to his untimely demise.

How can a picture on Everest leave one with so much emotion!!! I ended up crying for Rob and Jan and Sarah as usual. Good to see young Sarah all grown up and beautiful. Yet her dad was snatched from her cruelly for no fault of hers.

I think this particular picture portrays human greed (by way of Doug and Beck), humanity (by way of Rob) and thriving human spirit by way of all other mountaineers who scaled Everest that day. The Everest is THE insurmountable task and doing it must be lifechanging. I have watched many movies on trekking and scaling peaks around the world, but every time I see such a picture I am thoroughly moved. I am grateful that God at least gave me enough stamina to climb Tirumala on foot in an younger age!!! That’s the maximum I could manage and I wouldn’t want to test it again though I guess I can do it again with bulging knees even now (and then rest for a week with unbearable joint pain)! The thing is we must know, upto what point we can stretch our energies.

While watching K2, I recall the frame where they showed literally mounds of human poop frozen in snow. And the littering these climbers leave behind. That is something extremely sad. I think simultaneously the Himalayan peaks also need to be cleaned up. The warming up of Himalayas and the melting of glaciers can adversely affect the climate, ecology and bio-diversity in Nepal and India. I wonder whether these guys would be littering so much the Alps where there are stringent regulations. I know, because I have been to the top (on rail only)! You are not cleaning up behind you because a third world nation cannot afford to keep checking on you in those high altitudes – and is this fair and square. This is what I would like to make as my final comment on Everest hopefuls. Do clean up the Himalayan peaks on your ascent and descent. You have done enough environmental damage already warming up our snowcapped peaks and melting our pristine glaciers. As much as I admire the human spirit in you guys, the Everest and other peaks of Himalaya will be better off without you. If you can help it, DON’T SET YOUR FOOT ON EVEREST OR MERU OR ANY HIMALAYAN MOUNTAIN PEAK, Bye.

Dear PM Modi, Please dispatch Corona Vaccines to Nepal

Nepal, once the only constitutionally Hindu country in the world now sadly neutralized into secular, is seeing catastrophe with covid surge. India, the behemoth, can survive any onslaught, but Nepal cannot. None can deny the cultural connect we Hindus have with the Himalayan kingdom. Ever since Nepal started batting for China, India-Nepal ties are strained. India should be the good samaritan, the big brother it is to the subcontinent, and come forward to help Nepal in this distress. India has the capacity and capability to accommodate Nepal in the scheme of things. Is our PM Modi listening. An earnest plea dear prime minister, let not our Nepali brothers and sisters suffer. Please fly a contingent right this moment to the landlocked nation that is helpless. Nepal direly is in need of corona vaccines. I am well aware, India needs to take care of 1.3 billion. Still, let us not give up on each other. Vaccinating a few more crores of Nepalis won’t hurt India.

Prime MInister Shri Narendra Modi ji. My earnest appeal to you. Please help our brethren in Nepal on warfooting basis putting aside our political and policy differences. Please send a batch of our India made corona vaccines (Covaxin if not Covishield) at your earliest to Nepal, on humanitarian grounds. Please lend Nepal a helping lifesaving hand in this crisis. I am thanking you in advance on behalf of my Nepali friends.

Nepal is family. Whatever the differences, when India can do this for Bangladesh, why not for Nepal.

Gopura Darshanam Kodi Punyam 2

Downloaded from FB Pages Lost Temple, etc . The architectural splendour of ancient India. Now this is history. This is pedigree. This is culture. This is civilization.

And this is what still remains after 800 years of barbaric islamic terror reign of India under the turks/moguls/persians/arabs when tens of thousand more architectural marvels were razed to dust, and after 300 years of looting and pillage under the British. Otherwise just think, what India still could be. No way can we accept or ever come to respect invaders. We live with a bruised heart. We can come to terms with reality. Forgiving may be possible, forgetting, impossible. What a glorious nation is my Bharat! Taj Mahal will always be the most despised monuments for most Hindus. To us, it will always be our Shiva temple, Tejo Mahalaya.
