Found this on You tube. The hosts are ex comedy actors Kovai Sarala and Lalitha Kumari. Never paid them much attention before this vlog. Surprise content. I may not have been their fan, yet I have noted that even in their comic scenes they displayed kind of character-artiste side of theirs. Lalitha looks so young and refreshing, natural and without glamour. Her sense of dressing is understated elegance. She plays low key, sidestepping to allow her older friend to take the lead most of the times, and refers to Sarala as ‘akka’ – which shows one, the kind of bonding they must be sharing. Girlfriends always relate to each other from heart. These two seem to relax in each other’s company. The comfort factor is evident. There is this hidden side to many of us that not everyone may be aware of. The duo’s spiritual aspirations seem sky high literally! They are climbing peak after Himalayan peak! They pursue their goals with such a passion, as it was with their acting skills. As I grow older I can understand why probably they hit it off together. I am kind of able to gel with only spiritually motivated people nowadays and seem to be losing interest in those who are overtly materialistic. The age difference between these two even explained to me why I am getting along better with spiritually motivated girls who are in early 40s nowadays whereas I find the banal my-age-girls at times boring and uninspiring. Bhog, Yog both are important. With age, the bhog has to grow less and yog has to grow more. I am sick of small talk these days and selfish hypocrites, and want to gyrate away from their world. I am learning to keep my patience and keep my irritation to myself! Quite a tall order!
Anyway I recommend this series. The ladies seem to cover all vital information about the shrines they are visiting. Right now I am tuned in to their Himalaya Shiva Sthalls. Their Nepal travel story has kindled interest in me to follow on their footsteps whenever time and health may permit.
Sometimes who you think are sidekicks could be the real life heroines as Sarala and Lalitha reveal. Their devotion and zeal seem to be inspiring. Their bhakthi and energy levels are motivating. I wish these two ladies long, healthy and happy life and the joy of eternal friendship. Never so far wanted to meet any star in my life but if I get a chance to chat up these ladies, I would want to listen to their spiritual experiences. I bet they feel stronger spiritual vibes and are elevated souls already.
