Navratri Darshanam of Divine Mother of Cosmos

I can’t elaborate. I got ‘awakening’ in March early this year. I have to thank my Gurujis and the Guru Parampara and the sages, saints, rishis and other Yogis of India for making this possible for me, a householder who is not a monk or serious religious practitioner. Only one clue I can give: Meditation or Mantra Japa combined with ritual prayers may have been the key apart from previous birth Karma. Yoga helps. Yoga means discipline.

Anyway, six months later for the first time the Mother Supreme today showed Her face to me in this auspicious second day of Navratri when I was chanting the Lalitha Sahasranama. Earlier She used to show me Her side view as in the temple, then Her lotus feet etc. This time Her beautiful ethereal face appeared. I want nothing more out of my life after this. Before Her I have had Varahi darshan and Ma Kali’s vishwaroop darshan. I was expecting Ma still I was at loss of words and started weeping right during my recitation. I am humbled is all I can say. I don’t count myself as a model bhaktha or anything. Her compassion is boundless. This morning I had sage Agastya in my vision. He appeared with a flowing beard and many tiers of hair knotted top on his crown. I keep praying to Him. Err… I offer filter coffee south Indian style to my Gods and Goddesses. Today sure enough, He appeared in my living, seemed to take a sip of coffee from a cup and then He replaced the cup on the teapoy! Stunned. Again I was at loss of words. It was later that I was thanking Him!

I am no expert or pro. Not the podcasting type or broadcasting type although I share things with family and closest of friends. TODAY IS THE DAY OF MY LIFE. THIS IS WHAT I WAS BORN FOR. I can tell anyone, respect people not money or status, cultivate love and live a clear, clean, straight life. Pray sincerely. Don’t sell your soul. You don’t have to be political correct – to maintain your position in the books. Practise soul honesty. Be generous and helpful to others in whatever way you can.

My early life showed no indication of what was coming my way. I did one thing though: keep up my faith. Believed in universal goodness. However I also think, timely dealing with Adharma is also our responsibility. I am still in the kg level. Awakening is NOT Enlightenment. Upto the level of graduation in the university of cosmos, its a long, long, long way ahead.

But i feel with my Lalitha Maha Tripura Sundari’s heart melting, my birth purpose is already achieved! She showed up as Sri Vidya Gurus (various gurus) in my puja during Lalitha Sahasranama chanting over last few months. Om Shri Matre Namaha! Happy Navratri, celebration of womanhood without exclusions.

I am saying this because today the second day of Navratri is that of Brahmacharini, the spinster form of Ma Durga. One of the Dasa Maha Vidyas is Ma Dhumavathi, the old widow. Hindu Dharma excludes nobody. Inclusivity is what defines humanity. But of course, where distinction has to be made for the benefit of humanity, practise logic unabashedly! That’s what Krishna says!

Om Shri Matre Namaha! Happy Navratri to all!

**********************************

I was watching this you tube video of Garba dance. It was sickening to learn that the young people of Gujarat were administering themselves with IV fluids to bolster energy for the Garba dance rituals during Navratri.I have once attended Garba dance for Navratri in Mumbai. Its simply electrifying atmosphere. Being a south Indian, I could not manage dancing at that tempo and with their zest and zeal for even 10-15 min. I gave up. But that was the one and only Navratri I shut my home and I swore never to do it again. I felt bad for taking a vacation during Navratri. This was over 20 years back. But the other state people were carrying on past midnight almost.

Now years later I think about the banality of it all. The purpose of Navratri is awakenign the Shakthi, the divine feminine power in you. It is literally Shakthi awakening period for us women. I like the Durga Pujas held in Bengal and in general in east INdia. Maharashtra and Gujarat seem more into empty celebrations than piety. Then again I should not underestimate their faith because I have also observed my north Indian neighbours in Doha being very pious and carrying out pujas very sincerely in the day. Nobody can fast like our north Indian behens. Most of the days of an year they are fasting for this or that. However, Evenings of Navratri/Diwali were another story! Total glam and glitz and no religious aspect at all! I am low key south Indian. I still don’t approve of this mehendi and sangeet wedding dance sequence. And they have even added a liquor bar to the reception halls. We too have haldi kumkum chandan ceremony as pre-nuptials in the south that we call ‘nalangu.’ But it is a homely affair mostly with family and closest friends. We too have mehendi and again it is a family affair. The perspective seems to be lost with louder celebrations, to me at least. The sacrosanct Vedic wedding is now cut short and westernized with comperes taking over the management of the event. Hindu marriages, I mean the north Indian weddings, seem so banal to me. The weddings seem to be only for showing off the designer lehengas and diamond jewelry!

Navratri Garba is fine but obscenity and vulgarity is not. The feminine energy, the She energy we have in the cosmos will be peaking at this point of time. To capitalize this energy, we must celebrate womanhood in all forms with no exceptions. Ma Lakshmi, Durga and Saraswathi are said to be stepping into every home. How should we stay tuned then. Increased commercialization of Hindu festivals is a worrying trend. Of late, the religious perspective is getting lost with showbiz coming to characterize the pujas which were once upon a time considered sacred and private homely affairs and/or quiet community celebrations.

Om Shri Matre Namaha. Happy Navratri. May common sense prevail. May the Feminine Energy, the She Energy peak and shine in each and everyone of us women.

Can’t find a better way to close this post.

Two South Africans and India, today.

Why should a trillionaire like Musk want to control Bharat/India.

Really I am at a loss to understand this. Musk’s closeness with American government is open book. His influence on American policy is no secret either. He is the richest man in the world. Yet he wants to control a third world sovereign nation like India so desperately, but why? India is no banana republic. We have a thinking head who looks long into our future. We are not only responsible as a nation, we are also foresighted in holistic way, and more than all we are respectful. We respect boundaries and we expect others to respect our boundaries. What is this throwing tantrums in public space. Indian govt is not anyone’s puppet to dance to their tunes at their whim and fancy. Least of all Modi govt. Thank god, we have a sensible govt at the center that make us feel safe as a nation in these untoward times. Not only is our government sensible, they are also extremely sensitive to the aspirations of smaller insecure nations. While the west was marketing covid vaccine, India was a nation that was distributing the vaccination free to African and other poor nations. That is the basis on which Bharatha has existed for over 10000 years. We are not the mushroom that shot up in last night’s rain 300 years ago.

Imagine how the world was just an year back. Or right before this March 1st. India is careful even with her adversaries. ‘Noted is the only reaction/response from us. I like the guarded approach of our govt in sensitive matters. That is why it is possible for India to maintain good relations with both Iran and Israel at the same time. I came across this excellent take on the issue the link for which I am sharing. Musk by his disrespectful words towards Indian nation has lost the goodwill of the Indian public. Nobody wants Tesla or Starlink in India. Average Indian citizen is willing to pay even double or treble the rate to Indian player than someone like Musk. National security comes first. Why must Musk make everything about him. It is not at all about him. It is about OUR INDIAN NATIONAL SECURITY. Rahul Gandhi is Italian. Why should he be concerned about the safety and security of India. Fattened by inheritance alone and without sweating it out, he indeed still seems to have a big mouth to wag. Shame on him. No integrity. Look how he is selling his soul to Soros or now to this Musk. Rahul Gandhi has to start explaining to Indian public right from Lal Bahadur Shastri’s mysterious death in Tashkent paving way for his grandma Indira Gandhi to become the prime minister. Shall we start here Rahul.

Musk has got things going his way so far, unchallenged. He is the uncrowned emperor of America. But India is not Bangladesh or even America. You are dealing with Bharat, the nation that has fought Islam for 1300 years and resisted total conversion unlike west Asia, the culture that did not convert overnight to Christianity enmasse like Europe. The one and only continuous cultural civilization is that of Hindus for over 10000 years, UNBROKEN. Successful nations are not made in 300 years. It takes 3000 years minimum to call yourselves a success story.

By the way Musk, congratulations on your fellow South African winning the Nobel peace prize. Double whammy as she is of Indian ethnicity/origin. I took this screenshot from you tube haha.

Money has nothing to do with breeding. Class and good breeding come with genes and culture as Smt Navanetham Pillay has shown. I bet she is Tamil speaking and as a Tamil speaking Indian, I delight and rejoice in her stupendous success story. What a cause she is fighting for. She truly made our our day that earlier Musk tried to undo. Two South Africans and India, today.

Hanuman Chalisa saved the Flydubai Israel flight.

Hanuman Chalisa stated the speed of light millennia earlier before the west came with its claim on calculating it. Hanuman is a chiranjeevi who is believed to be on earth until today. If you want to verify Hanuman chalisa’s power, take a picture of Hanumanji, chant Hanuman chalisa for 40 days straight offering him neivedyam. LIfe change will be immediate. This is for believers. So for his ardent devotees, Hanuman ji waits by hand.

No wonder Smit Machchar, the Indian pilot who saved the Flydubai flight to Israel from being crashed, says he chanted Hanuman Chalisa in the most critical time as he lay there in the cockpit bleeding life blood as a passenger took over the controls of the flight. Smit was sharp enough to open the cockpit door in crucial moment that made the passengers overpower the islamic terrorist pilot.

HYPOCRISY OF THE WEST & AL JAZE8RA

Not a single western media report mentioned the nationality of the brave pilot who kicked open the cockpit door in his given condition, making it possible for some air passengers to rescue the flight. Kudos to the plumber who took over the flight safe-landing it. The word ‘Indian’ seems to have been carefully avoided.

However the Israeli PM Netanyahu and the UAE gave due credits to the Indian pilot mentioning his origins.

Al Jaze8ra, the Qatar based news agency as usual cut the part of ‘Hanuman chalisa’ from the Indian pilot’s video call conversation with PM Modi in their news report. Out and out an islamic terror mouthpiece, this is a very dangerous news organization in the entire world.

Let us leave it at that. Nowadays I don’t feel like dwelling on these negative matters for long. There may be a marked difference in my blogging style in last 1-2 years. Especially in last 6 months.

Well, all is well that ends well. Long Live Israel. Love and respect from India.

Pitru Paksha experiences.

Pitru Paksha is on. Very important phase of the Hindu calendar year when we believe pitrus come down for food and water. Their blessings are very important to us. These 15 days-1 month (the month of Purattasi in Tamil that includes Pitru paksha 2 weeks and Navaratri 2 weeks and is considered most auspicious for Lord Balaji/Venkateswara of Tirumala-Tirupathi) may be considered holiest during which even those hindus with worst non vegetarian food habits go totally vegetarian. This 1 month is that sacred for us Hindus.

For me, this year is special as it is my debutante awakening year! My father-in-law passed away in 2002 september end. I am sighting him since this August – after a gap of 24 years. His face is appearing in my puja. My chithi who was more a mother to me than my biological mom, passed away this march. I was in the US then and I missed being with her when she left. But strangely I never felt like missing her. It was the time I was ‘awakening.’ I knew sooner or later I would catch up with her. Yesterday, my cousin did ‘go dhaan’ for her sake and I went to our old house in Mylapore. I was thinking of my chithi. Compared to the times when she was around, I don’t feel affection or love for her now. I do a little, but I recognize the noble soul that she was. She was mother to a lot of cousins and held the family together. Such a spiritual lady who suffered a lot in life. Her broadmindedness and her generous nature and love and affection for one and all is something you can never see in this generation. I reckon now that kind spirited soul with more respect and awe and I am grateful that I was raised by this woman who got me married and took care of me when I delivered. Last morning in her house, she gave me darshan sitting in a single sofa settie and smiling at me. In fact I was taken by surprise as she she joined her hands for me in ‘namaste’ gesture. I am still wondering what that was for. It was seeing her that made me emotional. And thinking that I would never be able to talk to her again in this lifetime is what saddens me. She is the reason for my intense pujas. She and my chithappa started many for me. The very Lalitha and Saraswathi that sit in my puja got gifted by them. Even the Tanjore painting of baby Krishna was their gift.

My reality is totally changed. Ma Lalitha Maha Tripura Sundari becomes very happy if we recite any mantra or shloka for Her sincerely. When our devtas are pleased, they can give us divine darshans.

Keep praying is all I can say. Never lose hope. And try to be a decent humanbeing. Saw this you tube video by Shri Shri Ravishankar guruji where he says, only 10% of material world as we know and see and believe to be the reality is actually reality. Rest 90% reality is not visible to naked eyes. I haven’t fully listened to this video. Our afterlife is even more important than the fake life we live in the illusory world of Maya currently. For our own sake, we need to be good and decent humanbeing.

Recognize the dark souls among living humanbeings who are totally negative and sabotaging by character and keep away. Cut chords without a second thought. That can stop you from being engaged with them for multiple karmic birth cycles. Even if they provoke don’t respond or react. Once you start the chain, the cycle will keep going on. If you want to end a toxic relationship with this birth/janam, just put it to a decisive end and DO NOT ENGAGE. It is very important not to carry forward hatred, jealousy, vengeance, anger, frustration, rage, despair, resentment, regret and sorrow with us.

Finally, definitely honouring our pitrus in the pitru paksha is important. But more important is taking care of the elderly parents and in-laws when they are still around. How many have old people in their homes. How many visit regularly their aged parents and in laws. How many even spend time with them. So far as I have seen, pitrus receive more attention during this Mahalaya paksha that culminates in Mahalaya Amavasya (this year it is 10th saturday october) than what they receive when they’re physically around. I can understand the motive: not to get the pitru dosha or pitru curse. That alone is a reason for most these days to observe pitru paksha and stick to vegetarian food habits for one month (in the case of non vegetarians).

Om Shri Matre Namaha: Salutations to our Universal Divine Mother for Her blessings. Until this year, I had heard from podcasts, from satsangs, read from books etc., but Ma gives me experiences through visions that tally with information i have garnered through all these years. Om Shri Matre Namaha. Salutations to Ma Lalitha Maha Tripura Sundari, the ruler of the multiverse who is with my all 24 hours a day, 365 days an year. She is my protector and saviour forever taking care of me, Her daughter. With Her by my side, I go on and on.
