The two real superstars of India

The two real superstars of India are Joseph Vijay and Ajith Kumar of Tamil film industry. Vijay became the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, overthrowing a very corrupt DMK government who have been in and out of power for decades. Ajith is a name to reckon with in the racing circuit at international level. The two have met up for Ajith’s car race in London that was flagged of by Vijay. Even rival/competitors can be good friends – as they show the world. They both were at the peak of their film careers in Tamil film industry. Vijay signed off his last film with ‘Jananayagan.’ In an era of useless khans of Bollywood with alleged links to mafia, making money still with Harpic commercials and much damaging ‘pan’ and ghutka commercials even if they are multi millionaires, these two come as a breather. Their children are raised very well. Another one Madhavan who is basically a south Indian but who has made a mark in Hindu film industry, has his son participating in international swimming competitions. The lad has brought laurels to the nation. Rarest to see south Indian top heroes act in commercials to make petty money like how some bollywood heroes are doing. Anything for money. And what happens to that money of theirs? Their spoilt kids blow it away in rave parties, what else. To speak the truth, both Vijay and Ajith pictures I cannot watch! I am not their fan at all. I don’t have a favourite hero at all these days! But I like the way these two guys have shaped up as real life heroes shining as superstars of India. Vijay definitely is a potential PM candidate at a future date. In that, Rahul Gandhi just lost his deposit and has to vacate his spot!!!

What a cool cool CM to have! A big shout out to Joseph Vijay and Ajith from Chennai. Way to go guys!

Surprise of the week: Iran leader taking blessings from Hindu spiritual leader/guru

I am really surprised. Resident of Qatar for 20 years but never seen the Arabs entertaining Hindu spiritual gurus. I was told that, a guru from India once came to give a lecture and a couple of top arabs wanted to learn Bhagwad Gita getting curious about Hindu Dharma. Some teen arabs were even eager to leave islam. Then and there the axe fell. Hinduism and Islam can be said to be complete converses of each other. Nothing in common. Our temples were razed by islamists for centuries. Iran supported Kashmir separatists and Pakistan. So India and Iran may share business interests mutually beneficial, but I don’t think we ever shared that kind of bonhomie. Old friends true. Persians and ancient Hindus were friends from ancient times. Not irani muslims and hindus of India. We Hindus recognize the pre-islamic Persia wherefrom zoroastrians (parsis) fled to India escaping persecution. We have nothing to do with islamic Iran barring business interests. Yet today the surprise materialized.

We don’t need Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Turkey in BRICS. Iran itself does not make one feel comfortable. Probably the current leader sensed our uneasiness and decided to make peace. The world is aware of their dismal human rights violations. We are not here to discuss their war or to judge sides. Sorry, not a fan of Iran here. But neutral on Iran/Qatar. So long as they don’t damage us, I don’t care what they are upto. Its not our headache. Waiting for the day Al Jaze*ra is SHUT DOWN forever. Its okay, we cannot be concerning ourselves with others’ issues. Let us just look after our mutual business interests and keep the equations straight.

Saudi to Qatar to Iran, they all want to fund mosques in India but do not have a single Hindu temple in their soil. Saudi and Qatar have sizeable working/living Hindu population running into many millions. May the fossil fuel era draw to a close and a new energy age begin when we can give these people a taste of their own medicine.
